PRESS RELEASE
04.12.2024PRESS RELEASE
Washington, D.C.
Incomprehensible are today’s media note and fact sheet by US State Department’s office of the spokesperson.
We in Belarus spurn outright interference in our domestic affairs by way of conducting so-called “second strategic dialog” with nobody; by way of enumerating insincere exertions to “support democratic aspirations” of the Belarusian people.
Calls, observations, condemnations, discussions of “the participants” handpicked by the Biden regime are meaningless, futile, and irrelevant.
US regime would be better off dealing with its own ubiquitous internal problems and flagrant human rights abuses widely recognized by reputable international Human Rights Organizations and by honest US politicians.
The Leadership and the Government of the Republic of Belarus are accountable to the Belarusian people only, and our Presidential elections will be held on January 26, 2025 in full compliance with the Constitution of Belarus and the Electoral Code of Belarus. We know better how to conduct free and fair elections, without succumbing to senseless wants and whims of Western “democratizers”.
Our country and our people today are as united as ever and are prepared to successfully suppress and resist any encroachments aimed to chip away at the Independence and Sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus.
